Are you ready for the holiday season to arrive? I have noticed a HUGE trend this year. In my neighborhood, as well as online, I have witnessed people taking down their Halloween decorations and putting Christmas lights and decorations up right away in their place!

They discussed this “2020 trend” on the radio the other day. Their opinion was that people are ready for 2020 to be over and that everyone is in need of some comfort, joy and happiness in their lives.

I would tend to agree. Everything inside of me is begging to curl up on the couch under a comfy blanket, with a fire roaring and Christmas music playing in the background.

Christmas 2020

This Christmas is going to look very different for us. It will be my first year, ever, not celebrating Christmas with my parents. Part of me wants to roll up into fetal position, hibernate and wake up when Covid is over. However, I’m going to put on my big girl pants and try to make Christmas extra special for my kids this year.
